K Wed Science and History

Good day!
We went to Russia, listened to the Nutcracker, learned about how Faberge eggs came about, read Rechenka's Eggs about the beautiful eggs, decorated eggs on paper, colored the flag, looked at Ella's nesting dolls.

For science we checked the ongoing bean experiment and talked about how everyone elses is coming. We looked at our now rubbery chicken bone from 2 weeks ago.
They understand that living things need food, water and air and we talked about how animals also need shelter. They made a picture of their own homes- they really spent a lot of time on it.

They all really seem to be looking forward to the symphony! :) See ya tomorrow.
