Science- the kids had fun feeling objects and guessing. They also came up with different objects based on how it feels. We also talked about how you can't tell what color something is using our other senses. They put 3 things in their senses book. We reviewed all the senses and finished out the unit.
History- we went to Spain. I think they all understand that Spain is a country in the continent of Europe and can probably even located it. We read a story that explained the king in the castle, crops of grain, cattle, cork trees, the city, and the wall of protection. We talked about matadors a little (their attention was done at that point).
We made their cover for the Europe suitcase. I didn't realize that each country gets its own suitcase, so I didn't have the envelopes. I will get them and send on Tues., if you don't get it done then we can finish next Wed. Ranae.
