St. Valentine's Day

How about having a party and lunch at my house on that Thursday before class at 10:30. I thought I would have the kids make heart shaped waffles in my waffle iron and we could throw on some berries and whipped cream. Then they can exchange simple hand made cards.

Also Rachelle and I came up with a fun idea of the children decorating their own boxes at home, that would represent something about themselves. Then could be used in a guessing contest.

Keeping it simple and fun.

Let me know what you think.

We're in, Shaylene was already talking about it.
I'll post any idea I have to contribute.

Ranae and I will teach from 12-1 that day, so I'll pick up Nadia and Shaylene at 11:20. We'll have the party from 1-2. I'm bringing heart-shaped butter cookies. Let's have the kids bring their decorated cans and we'll have them try to guess who made each one (I'll make a guessing card). Iliaza will be bringing one and Harrison will have one, Ranae will Ian have one, too? I want to make sure the kids bring enough Valentines for everyone. I'll still take the kindergarten back to my house after the party for science. Does that sound good?

sounds good to me. Harrison will not be there. He will be making a box though. Maybe he can give his Valentines to his friends on Tues.
