Once again we missed Quinn. The girls are sure all feeling out their spots now with Shaylene here. What drama!
Science- we learned how clouds are formed and then how the clouds become so full that it rains. They got to see on the wax paper how the raindrops connect and then in the cotton ball how the water becomes so heavy that the water drops out. We made a rainbow outside with the mirror, water, paper and sun (it actually worked). We attempted the painting of the rainbow but I think at that point they thought they were in Ranae's drama class, so it didn't get too far.
History- we talked about Christopher Columbus, the Nina, Pinta and Santa Maria. I think they understood how it happened that the America's were found (this land being in the way of a direct route from Europe to Asia going west)
