good day today. Piano went really well, Ms. Julie said. French went well too. They all mastered the lesson and get to go on to the next one Gen said.

Larts- we read 3 little pigs and acted it out with puppets. I thought they would never do this, but they actually thought it was funny. I read Hansel and Gretel to them. We didn't have time to do the questions that went along with the story, so you may want to go over those. they are in Unit 9 lesson 2 and also in the pegasus book with the story. It took us a full hour to do these activities, but they were very focused.

Science- learned about the stem today. It was funny because they all had no idea that the stem carried water to the leaves. They thought stems were only to hold up the plant. David shared some stories about red wood trees since they were in the lesson and he had seen some recently. We started the celery experiment with the food coloring. They all wrote their hypothesis on the hand outs. It is funny because they really have no idea what is going to happen. They thought either the celery would start growing or that it would die. it will be fun to see their reactions to it turning blue.
