K -Art Unit 6: Lessons 5 and 6, unit assesment

We learned about the Plains and the Northcoast Indians art. I let them choose between making a Indian blanket design or a clay pot. The clay pot won. We did look at blanket designs and masks online. The main idea of the lesson was that American Indians often used their artworks for something - masks, shields, tepees, pottery, clothing ect.....

We had a great desscusion agout the prints on pages 8, 10 and 12. Durer had some surprises they had to look for.

Unit 7 is on still life drawing.
