Tues. Classes

OK--so I am seriously late posting this! I hope Cindy and family and Holden are doing better!
Here is what we did on Tues.

K History- We learned about Lewis and Clark and read the Sacagawea book. They enjoyed the pictures and had questions about her adventures. It was very quiet without Ella there :-).

K Music- We reviewed dynamics and learned about the crescendo-going from soft to loud. We sang "John Jacob Jingle Heimer Schmidt" with dynamics. We played the 6 elephant game, did more notation with our staff and note chips, and galloped like horses to different styles of music.

Drama- We played some drama games (all review since we were missing so many people). We worked on tapping the rhythm of "Rumpus in the Rainforsest" and saying the words so we could stay with the music. We learned our places on stage in the first scene, I worked with the explorers on their song, the sloths on their song, and David on his song. If you have any explorer things (binoculars, back packs, compass, etc. ) start sending those in. We need to start practicing with our props. I think it is going really well.

Recorder. We worked on their challenge song. David was able to do it and will get a candy bar--go David!

Hope everyone is better for This next week!
