K Art Unit 6: lessons 5 and 6 assessment
They learned about the art of the Plains and Northwest Coast Indians. The point of the lesson was to look at the things Indians made shields, arrows, pots, blankets, masks, tepees, ect. and come to the understanding that they use their art work for daily survival and ceremonies.
2nd grade Art Unit 8: lessons 9 and 10 assessment
They learned about triptychs and that they are located in the alter of cathedrals and churches.
They looked at many triptychs on the web gallery of art. Next week they will make a model of a triptych and start unit 6 - Landscapes.
For history next week the boys will need - St. George And The Dragon and Knights in Shining Armor.
