K-Art Unit 7: lessons 1 and 2 Still Life
We had a great lesson. It started with a drawing of an apple, and they were able to add the background with a shadow. If it keeps going this well we may stay her a little longer they did awesome. I did not send home an assessment because they could not pick out the still life painting. Next week I will have a lot of samples for them to look at. In lesson 3 they will be introduce to the artist Paul Cezanne and his still life drawings.
On Friday the 29th Cindy and I will be taking the K's and Harrison to Ollie's Story Time. Rachelle, Ella is signed up.
The Touch a Truck event is going to be at Glendale Community College Saturday, Feb. 23rd from 10a.m. to 1 p.m.
Prospectors Day is Feb. 23rd at 10a.m. 1052 W. Washington St. 602-771-1600
I need everyone to sign to forms for the art show.
2nd Grade Art
We made a sample Triptych and tried to finish the rock art pictures. I thought of one more way to do the hand prints - use a sponge and dab around their hands. I will give it a try on Tuesday. I want to hand them in next week.
