Just wanted to write a quick note about what we did yesterday. Cindy--I am planning on having a normal day Tues. at my house. Suzy and I are going to do some fun Halloween activities and if they all wear their costumes I will have out my photography backdrop and take pictures. I have a new black one just for Halloween :-). RaChelle, I forgot to tell you today. You might want to suggest to Julie to have Ella come at 9 or 9:30 for a 30 minute private lesson right before the boys. She can always move the boys back 30 minutes if she needs to and that wouldn't matter. Hopefully you can work it out :-).
K Music- We reviewed our Japanese song game "Wild Bird" and reviewed that konnichiwa means hello. I introduced the rhythm cards and they were able to use their cards to write rhythms that I spoke to them. They really seemed to like these cards and are doing great with rhythm. We talked a little bit about Mozart and listened to "Twinkle Variations" which he wrote. I introduced high and low in written notation to the song "Star Light". They seemed to get this right away.
2nd grade Ensemble- They did great. They are to work on the last 2 songs on the page that haven't been passed off as well as the next page. I can't wait to do a concert for everyone!
