2nd Grade History Unit 6 lesson 1 - The Contributions of Rome
While the Roman Empire fell, the influence of Rome lives on. We looked at some English words that came from Latin words. The Romans gave us many things, including books, words, the names of our months and planets, styles of architecture, and the idea of republican government.
This was review for the boys but it was fun putting it all together in a lesson. Great discussion.
